Police request public assistance to identify suspect in west end break in

Kingston Police have released the above photo and are asking for public assistance in identifying the person pictured, a suspect in a break and enter.

On November 10, 2020 at approximately 9:10 p.m. the male suspect broke into a west end Kingston business, according to a release from Kingston Police, dated Wednesday, Jan 20, 2021. He gained access to the premises by breaking out a window. The suspect proceeded to climb through the broken window and left approximately one minute later through the same point of entry with a laptop belonging to the business.

The suspect was captured on security video and appears to be a Caucasian male with short brown hair and an unshaven face. He was wearing a light coloured ball cap with no visible logo.
