Kingston Police seeking public’s assistance to locate woman wanted for fraud

Kingston Police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a female, Kizzie Wilson, who is wanted for numerous fraud related offences.

Police say that in July of 2020, Wilson was provided access to a residence at which time she stole cheque books and bank cards, which were subsequently used at a later date.

The elderly victim suffers from dementia and was not immediately aware that these items had been taken, say police. Kingston Police were contacted and after further investigation it was discovered that Wilson had fraudulently used these cheques and bank cards to withdraw over $5000 from the victim’s accounts.

Wilson, a 39-year-old local woman, is wanted for fraud over $5000, using a credit card obtained by offence, uttering a forged document/cheque signature, possessing proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000, and two counts of breach of probation.

A separate incident has since been investigated where Wilson is accused of impersonating a store employee and stealing a bank card from a visually impaired victim and then using it to complete fraudulent transactions.
