Kingston Police continue investigation into Glenburnie homicide

Kingston Police say they are continuing to conduct an investigation into a homicide at a residential property in the 2100 block of McKendry Road, in Glenburnie, earlier this week and are appealing to the public for any information related to the sudden death.

Following notification of next-of-kin, police have now identified the victim as 88-year-old Jahzerah Berndt, who police say lived alone at the McKendry Road residence.

“The scene remains secured at this location as the investigation continues and no one has been arrested in relation to the incident,” Kingston Police said in a statement on the afternoon of Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022.

“The Kingston Police Major Crime Unit is still appealing to the public for any information related to this incident.
