COVID-19 case confirmed at Rémi-Gaulin elementary school

Kingston’s French Catholic school board has confirmed one positive case of COVID-19 at École élémentaire catholique Mgr-Rémi-Gaulin, at 51 Virginia St in Kingston.

According to the COVID-19 dashboard on the website of Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE), there is one active case at the school, with two classrooms in isolation. The school is still open and operating.

The school reportedly notified families of students about the positive case over the weekend. The Kingstonist will update this article as more information becomes available.
