CORCAN reinstates prison farm programs: The cows are coming home

The prison farm programs will be reinstated at both Collins Bay and Joyceville Institutions, Corrections Canada has just announced.

Parliamentary Secretary Holland, on behalf of the Honourable Ralph Goodale, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, along with MP Mark Gerretsen, made the announcement at Joyceville Institutions at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jun. 21, 2018. The dairy farming program will not only ‘bring the cows home,’ but also include goats, Holland announced.
