Company offering reward after break and enter in Kingston’s east end

After a break and enter at a commercial building in Kingston’s east end, the owners of that property are offering a reward to those able to assist in the ongoing investigation.

According to Kingston Police, the break and enter occurred on Friday, May 26, 2023, when, at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a break and enter that had occurred at 100 Innovation Drive.

“Officers searched the building, however, no suspects were located at that time. Windows were smashed and some damage was done inside the building,” Kingston Police said in a press release on Thursday, Jun. 8, 2023.

Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in providing any information regarding this incident. According to police, the property owner, New Empire Construction, is offering a reward to anyone who can provide information that leads to the arrest of any involved suspects. Police were not able to say how much the reward being offered would be in dollars, as the reward is being offered independent of the Kingston Police Force.

“Enquiries regarding the reward must be directed to New Empire Construction,” police said.
