Free family fun at Garrison Kingston Family Fun Fest

The 6th Annual Garrison Kingston Family Fun Fest at CFB Kingston continues on Sunday, September 8, featuring free family fun for the entire Kingston community.

The event held in celebration of Kingston’s military community and their families includes the following activities from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.:

-Midway and Military Displays and Demonstrations

-33 CF Health Services Teddy Bear Clinic – Sponsored by BMO

-Sponsors Exhibits Open (Dome)

-Guided Trolley Tours of RMC (Every 10 min starting at 10 a.m. Note: The trolley will not be running between 1:15pm and 1:45pm)

-BMX Demos (11 am and 2:45 pm)

-Games to Go Mobile Video Game Theatre

-Laser Tag

-Axe Throwing

-Woof Jocks – Dog Stunt Team 11:45 AM

-Canadian Military Wives Choir Kingston (Event Tent) 12:00-1:30 PM

-Base Commander’s Address & Prize Draws (Event Tent) 5:00 PM

There is sure to be something for everyone at this year’s Garrison Kingston Family Fun Fest. Free activities and events will be taking place at the Sports Dome at Navy Way, a 50,000 sq ft. facility featuring a Sponsorship Zone and a large kids’ activities and entertainment area. The Field House will host clubs, exhibitors, military displays, bouncy castles, axe throwing, and more.

On the Midway will be military displays, food and drink, and activities including Build-a-Birdhouse, Teddy Bear Clinic, BMX Demo, Games to Go Mobile Gaming Station and more.
