Charges to be laid in fatal motorcycle collision
OPP say that charges are pending following a collision in Kingston’s east end that took the life of a motorcyclist on June 19, 2019.
Shortly after 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening, officers from Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) as well as Kingston Fire and Frontenac Paramedics responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 15 and John F. Scott Road in Kingston involving a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle.
The highway was closed for several hours while OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI) were at the scene.
The investigation revealed that the vehicles collided as the motorcycle was south bound and the passenger vehicle was north bound on Highway 15.
As result of the collision the driver of the motorcycle, Diane Torry, a 56-year-old from Wolfe Island, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The two adult occupants of the passenger vehicle were taken to Kingston General Hospital and assessed for minor injuries.
Shortly before 2 a.m. the road was reopened.
The collision is still under investigation and a determination of what charges will be laid will be made once it has been concluded.

Looks like another case of
looking for a car and cannot see a truck let alone a motorcycle, people living too fast a life and not slowing down.
