Celebrate Artisan Made Co’s Grand Opening with their exclusive Virtual Spring Collection

Six months after opening their doors, Artisan Made Co is holding a Grand Opening. It won’t be an in-person event, but it will be a celebration of spring online.
“April marks six months in business and we wanted to celebrate with our local community and makers,” said Jessica Pecore, the brand’s founder. “We originally planned to take over the Creative Studio next door and do a massive Grand Opening in line with social distancing rules both at the shop and online. Due to the current lockdown, we had to very quickly change many of our plans.”
Despite the province-wide restrictions, Artisan Made Co is moving forward with an Online Grand Opening Collection to continue to support the makers they represent.
“So many makers have been working hard to prepare for this that we did not want to postpone it due to the latest restrictions,” she said. “We strive to promote shopping small and supporting our local Canadian talent, especially during a pandemic.”
Pecore said this will be the second time their storefront has been shutdown since opening their doors in October. “It has been very challenging opening a small business during the pandemic. We are remaining positive during these unprecedented times and cannot begin to describe how amazed we are with the community support, not only from shoppers, but fellow local businesses, as well,” she said.
Artisan Made Co will be running a ‘Spend Now, Save Later’ incentive during their Grand Opening Collection. Shoppers who purchase over $50 will receive a surprise $5-$100 code. This code is redeemable during the month of May 2021. The codes will be emailed out at the end of April, to the address provided during checkout.
“The Spend Now, Save Later incentive is our way of saying thank you for all the community support during our first six months in business,” Pecore shared.
The Grand Opening Spring Collection opens on the Artisan Made Co website at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Apr. 22, and runs through Thursday, May 6, 2021. The collection will include a variety of local and Canadian-made goods, including bath and beauty, fashion, home décor, food and drink and some pre-orders for Mother’s Day.
Purchases can be picked up at the Artisan Made Co storefront at 1724 Bath Road, Unit 10. Pick up hours are between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesdays, and 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Saturdays, and local orders are delivered free in Kingston.
