Break and enter at Lakeshore Pool leads to foul situation

Extensive clean-up was required after two break and enters at Lakeshore Pool in Kingston’s west end during which the suspect(s) defecated in the pool.

The incidents occurred overnight on the August long weekend, specifically on the night of Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, and then again on the night Sunday, Aug. 5. Due to the extensive clean-up required after the suspect(s) defecated in the pool, Lakeshore Pool was forced to close down for two days over the hot and humid long weekend.

Police are actively investigating the incident(s) as a case of break and enter, and mischief, according to a press release from Kingston Police.  Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact Det.
