Both Queen’s Soccer Teams rack up weekend wins

While it wasn’t a winning weekend for the Queen’s Football Team, the Queen’s Soccer Teams swept the weekend with wins on Sunday, Sept. 29, 2019.

The Women’s Soccer Team dominated against the Laurentian Voyageurs, taking the game 4-0, and the Queen’s Men’s Soccer Team secured a shutout also over the Voyageurs for a 1-0 win.

The Gaels Football Team fell to the Laurier Golden Hawks during Laurier’s Homecoming weekend with a final score of 52-16.

WATERLOO, Ont. (September 28, 2019) – The Queen’s Gaels (2-4) couldn’t stop the Laurier Golden Hawks (2-3) at their homecoming in Waterloo as the Golden Hawks defeated Queen’s 52-16 in OUA football action on an overcast Saturday afternoon.

WOMEN’S SOCCER – Gaels shutout the Laurentian Voyageurs in dominant 4-0 victory
KINGSTON (September 29th, 2019) – The Gaels (7-0-2) easily defeat the Laurentian Voyageurs (2-4-2) 4-0 on Sunday afternoon at Richardson Stadium.
