Belleville suspects wanted for Attempted Murder arrested in Kingston

Three individuals wanted following a shooting on Pine Street in Belleville on Thursday were arrested in Kingston later that day.
“On the 29th of September, 2022, at 1:43 pm, Belleville Police were called to Pine Street Belleville, Ontario, for reports of a shooting,” Belleville Police confirmed in a statement.
“Initial information indicated that two males had entered the residence and shot the victim several times with a handgun. The victim, a 28-year-old Toronto, Ontario male, was transported to Belleville General Hospital with several gunshot wounds and later taken to Kingston General Hospital, where he remains in serious condition.”
Police say that through their investigation they were quickly able to identify the suspects in the shooting.
Later that afternoon, at about 3:30 p.m., members of the Belleville Police Service “Project Renewal” and the Belleville Police Service Emergency Response Unit, with the assistance of Kingston Police, conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Princess Street and Taylor Kidd Boulevard in Kingston, Ontario, near the Ambassador Hotel.
Project Renewal is a Joint Forces Operation made up of the Belleville Police Service (BPS) Drugs and Intelligence Section, together with the Ontario Provincial Police’s Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB), with the assistance of other municipal police forces.

As a result of the investigation and vehicle stop, two individuals were arrested and charged.
According to Belleville Police, 23-year-old Quorde Quincy Bowen of Toronto, Ontario, has been charged with:
Attempt Murder using a restricted firearm
Two counts of Fail to comply with a probation order
Four counts of Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a Probation Order
Possession for the Purpose of trafficking
Possession of property obtained by crime
24-year-old Nathaniel Mascoll of no fixed address was charged with:
Attempt Murder using a restricted firearm
Three counts of Adult fail to comply with a probation order
Possession for the Purpose of trafficking
Possession of property obtained by crime
23-year-old Destiny Kaitlyn Burns, of Toronto, Ontario, has been charged with:
Possession for the Purpose of trafficking
Possession of property obtained by crime
All three suspects were held for a bail hearing on the 30th of September, 2022.
