UPDATE – Road reopened: Battersea Road closed after collision involving pedestrian

The stretch of Battersea Road between Kingston Mills Road and River Ridge Road will remain closed for an unknown length of time while Kingston Police investigate the collision.

Kingston Police reported that barricades have been removed and the road is back open to regular traffic.

Battersea Road is closed between Kingston Mills Road and River Ridge Road after a serious motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian occurred in the morning of Thursday, Sept. 23, 2021.

Kingston Police advise the public that the roadway will be closed for an unknown length of time while they conduct their investigation. No further details were released at the time of publication.
