Two people have been taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following a serious collision on Bath Road this morning.
The collision occurred just after 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019 at Bath Road and Vista Drive in Kingston’s west end. A van involved in the collision was rolled over onto its roof as a result, and both drivers were transported to hospital with undetermined injuries.
“We do not believe at this time that they were serious injuries and [the injuries] did not appear life threatening,” said Const. Ash Gutheinz, media relations officer for Kingston Police.
According to Gutheinz, the collision is still under investigation, and no charges have been laid pending further investigation and discussion with those involved, as well as with witnesses.
Eastbound lanes of Bath Road remained closed as of noon, but are expected to be reopened shortly.
