Arrested parties named, one suspect still at large in Fraser Street shooting incident
As reported last week, Kingston Police have arrested and charged two men in connection with the Fraser Street shooting incident that occurred on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2019.
Kingston Police Major Crime Unity found grounds two arrest two of the three suspects involved in the incident on Friday, Feb. 1. At approximately 5:45 p.m. that day, Kingston Police, with the assistance of Brockville Police, attended Brockville Address and located the two known suspects. Both were arrested.
Kingston Police have now named the arrested parties, as well as the charged laid against them.
Everett Timothy Telgen, a 53-year-old man from Brockville is facing the following charges:
- Two counts of attempted murder
- Four counts of reckless discharge of a firearm
- Three counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited
- Possession of a firearm without a licence
- Having face disguised to commit an offence
- Break and enter
- Breach of probation
Jeffery Burtch, a 31-year-old man from Perth, is charged with the following:
- Two counts of attempted murder
- Four counts of reckless discharge of a firearm
- Three counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited
- Possession of a firearm without a licence
- Having face disguised to commit an offence
- Break and enter
- Breach of probation
Kingston Police expressed gratitude for the public tips and information that assisted in the investigation.
The third unknown suspect, the one wearing the grey hoodie in the above photos, is still at large. Anyone with information is asked to contact Det.
