Alternating lane closures to take place Wednesday on LaSalle Causeway

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is advising motorists that alternating lane closures will take place on the LaSalle Causeway on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020.
The lane closures are taking place to allow for repair work to take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. One lane will remain open in both directions during this time, and two flagspersons will on site to control the flow of traffic.
“There will be no lane closure during rush hour in order to minimize disruption,” PSPC said. “PSPC encourages users to exercise caution when travelling on the bridge and thanks them for their patience.”
Cycling, pedestrian and marine traffic will not be affected by the lane closures, and the schedule may change depending on the weather. In the case of inclement weather, the work will take place on the same schedule the following day (Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020).
