All-day walk-in appointments available for COVID-19 vaccine

KFL&A Public Health is now offering all-day walk-in appointments for first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Both the INVISTA Centre in Kingston and the Strathcona Paper Centre in Napanee will be open for walk-in appointments to make getting fully vaccinated easier for individuals 12 years of age and older.
Anyone who has not received both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine is able to walk in for an appointment during vaccine clinic hours.
Clinic hours at INVISTA Centre
- Thursday, July 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Friday, July 23 and Saturday, July 24 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 27 to Sunday, August 1 from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Clinic hours at Strathcona Paper Centre
- Sunday, July 25 to Thursday, July 29 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Sunday, August 1 and Monday, August 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
For those who prefer to have an appointment time, the KFL&A Public Health website is available to book your first or second dose vaccine appointment or call the booking centre at 343-477-0172.
Public Health is urging residents to get fully vaccinated as soon as possible.
Mass vaccine clinics at INVISTA Centre and Strathcona Paper Centre are closing as of the end of the day on August 2, 2021. KFL&A Public Health is currently contacting individuals who had clinic appointments after this date to provide information on how to rebook their second dose vaccine appointment at another clinic location, according to a release from Public Health. To reschedule your appointment (28 days after your first dose) visit KFL&A Public Health’s website for a list of available vaccine clinics or call the booking centre at 343-477-0172.
For those returning to school in the fall, walk in to INVISTA Centre or Strathcona Paper Centre during clinic hours now until August 2 to get fully vaccinated before returning to classes.
