Accident causes lane closures during heavy snow in Kingston

A vehicle accident at John Counter Boulevard and Sir John A Macdonald Boulevard has resulted in a downed light post, and the closure and partial closure of two lanes in the busy intersection.

The accident occurred just before 2 p.m., and no injuries have been reported. Kingston Police, Kingston Fire and Rescue, and Frontenac Paramedics were all on scene. One lane on Sir John A Macdonald Boulevard southbound is partially closed, and the merging lane going eastbound on John Counter Boulevard onto southbound Sir John A Macdonald Boulevard is closed.
