2 suspects arrested, facing attempted murder charges following Fraser St shooting
Kingston Police have arrested two males in relation to a shooting earlier this week on Fraser St, in central Kingston, and have charged them with Attempted Murder and Discharging A Firearm With Intent To Injure.
Kingston Police Detective Sergeant Jay Finn says members of the Kingston Police Emergency Response Team, along with KPF Major Crimes, Street Crime, and Intelligence Units joined with the Brockville Police Emergency Response Unit to execute a warrant at 44 Central St, in Brockville. Two of the suspects were located in the residence. A 53-year-old male from Brockville and a 31-year-old male from Perth have been charged and will be attending a bail hearing on Saturday morning.
One male, who in surveillance footage is seen wearing a gray sweater and jeans, remains at large and the investigation is ongoing. “We have a good idea of who he is,” said Finn.
