18-year-old deceased in single vehicle collision

OPP are continuing to investigate a fatal motor vehicle collision east of Kingston.

On September 24, 2019 at about 4:40 a.m. OPP officers from the Thousand Islands office responded to a single vehicle collision on Deer Ridge Drive, in Front Leeds-Lansdowne Township.

The driver, who OPP have identified as Emily Smith, 18-years-old of Gananoque, was the lone occupant and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Leeds County OPP continue to investigate the collision with the assistance of the OPP Traffic Collision Investigators (TCI) and a Collision Reconstructionist.
