Have you heard of Fusix Corporation? They’re a computer store and network cabling business, among other things. Fusix’s recently-opened storefront can be found in the plaza at 1407 John Counter Blvd.
While Fusix has been around in name for 18+ years, this is their debut storefront location. All the employees previously worked at the now-defunct Computer Depot, and have over eighty years of combined experience in the IT field.
Bringing what they’ve learned to a smaller scale store has allowed the Fusix team to better focus on their client base and provide individualized service to each of their customers. They sell and repair machines, and enjoy taking custom orders and meeting customers’ needs.
Refurbished computers are a big seller for Fusix. “Refurbs” are a green option, and have lots of life left in them. These machines are returned to original specifications, and come with a 30-day warranty, but are sold at a fraction of the cost of new computers.
The Fusix technicians have a specialized understanding of network wiring in historical buildings. Having done extensive work in many such designated buildings in Kingston’s core, Fusix has the knowledge to complete your network while complying with the guidelines set out by the historical society.
Services Fusix provides include:
- On-site and Remote IT Support Services
- Server & Network Management
- Virtual Private Networks
- Cloud Services — including Office 365/Microsoft 365, G Suite, and VoIP
- Web Hosting and Email Services
- Network Cabling — new construction and existing businesses
- Individualized Ordering — to provide solutions for your specific needs
“Each client’s needs are different and no single solution fits everyone’s needs. We offer a wide variety of services and will never push you to a single solution. We are here as your trusted advisors to help assess and to recommend the best solutions for your unique needs.” — Fusix Corp website
