Best Restaurant in Kingston’s West End

Best Restaurant, West End, Township, Kingston, OntarioWe spend a lot of time talking about food, and rightfully so in a town like ours, which has so many wonderful, locally owned, and in many cases locally sourced options. The majority of Kingston’s fantastic local restaurants are located in the downtown area, where tourists, students and concert and game-goers can easily access them.

Suburban areas such as the township, tend to offer a wide variety of chains when it comes to both food and retail, and Kingston is no exception. While these types of businesses are in the majority, it can’t be ignored that there is also a handful of excellent local restaurants dotting our west end.

This week we want to know:

Which Kingston west end restaurant is the best?

  • Bella Bistro (53%, 106 Votes)
  • Days on Front (29%, 58 Votes)
  • Ramekins (12%, 24 Votes)
  • Minos Village Restaurant (3%, 6 Votes)
  • Pasta Shelf (3%, 6 Votes)

Total Voters: 200

While we could come up with close to a dozen options for this week’s poll, we decided to focus our attention primarily on the restaurants that have endured the test of time. We hope that the next time we run a similar poll, that newer restaurants that we love such as Go Italian and Saber’s Taste of India will also be options on our list.

As always, we love to hear your thoughts. Do you live in the west end? Is there an absolute go-to for you or your family? Did we leave out an obvious choice? What is it that makes a restaurant the best in your opinion? Drop of your comments below.
