Walking with blue marble | water front

May 27 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

One event on July 30, 2022 at 10:00am

Free

Enjoy a free guided walk with blue marble learning scene along a section of the Kingston water front. Registration required.

Your guide Tara will talk to you about rivers, lakes, riparian zones, reptiles, and more s you enjoy nature along the water front on the K&P trail.

We have selected this section of the K&P trail as it has a variety of wildlife and nature right in the heart of Kingston. Doug Fluhrer park specifically is home to many different birds, reptiles, and mammals that we may get to see along the walk. We cannot guarantee you will see any specific animal as they are living their own lives in this little nature paradise within the city.

The total walking distance will be 1 – 2 km along a well groomed paved trail.

This walk is great for families, individuals, and anyone looking to spend some time outside and interested in learning something new. Recommended for individuals over 7 years of age.
