LIGHT UP THE NIGHT

December 5, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Donations Appreciated

KINGSTON JEWISH COUNCIL
Light up the Night on Sunday, December 5

All are welcome to join Kingston’s Jewish community on the 8th night of Hannukah to enjoy songs, latkes and hot chocolate while all the candles are lit

This year, an early Hannukah means a full menorah for the annual Light up the Night Celebration. Hannukah moves with the Jewish calendar and this year the Festival of Lights starts on the evening of November 28, which is as early as it gets. We will gather on the 8th night, which is December 05th — a Sunday evening.

Light Up The Night features:
• Menorah Lighting
• Hot Chocolate
• Latkes
• Singing and possibly dancing.
• Hannukah greetings from local religious and political leaders.

KJC Choir – 3rd Night

The KJC Choir will be holding a virtual get together where they will sing Hanukkah songs, schmooze, and light candles together online on the 3rd night – November 30 at 6:30pm.

LUTN – 8th Night

Kingston Jewish Council is hosting an outdoor gathering at Market Springer Square. The large menorah will be installed on November 26th. Hundreds of latkes and plenty of hot chocolate will be on hand for no charge. Donations are appreciated and accepted gladly. The event begins at 5pm and lasts approximately an hour.
All of the Kingston community are welcome. The Kingston Jewish Council is always delighted to see our neighbours attend with us. Dress for the weather!
