Fat Goose Craft Fair
Fat Goose Craft Fair turns 10!
For the past ten years the Fat Goose Craft Fair has been providing Kingstonians with a well curated exhibition of fine contemporary craft. Organized by a group of local makers, the event reflects a careful and considered jurying process. The work shown at Fat Goose is fresh, innovative, and extremely well made.
In celebration of its 10th year, cost of admission will contribute to a grant for an emerging craft person. “We wanted to give back,” states organizer Vincent Perez. “We all know how difficult it is to be sustainable as an independent craftsperson. Often there are amazing learning opportunities out there that are financially just a little out of reach. This grant will help an emerging artist capitalize on something that can really help them grow as a maker.”
This year’s event promises to be another successful show. Over 55 vendors will grace Grant Hall on Queen’s University Campus, on December 2nd from 10-4. Applications for the grant will be posted in January 2019 on the Fat Goose Craft Fair website www.fatgoosecraftfair.com.
Can we count on your support of as little as $5/month to keep us going?
