Cantabile's annual candle-light holiday concerts have thrilled Kingston audiences for over two decades. Join in the magnificent sounds of the season for three performances, Friday, December 20 at 7:30, and Saturday December 21 at 2:00 and 7:30 at the Spire. Carols old and new plus favorite holiday songs sung by this amazing choral organization of 250 voices.

Happy Days, by Samuel Beckett In the Baby Grand Theatre from Nov 1st till Nov 9th we will find Theatre Kingston’s Artistic Director buried up to her waist in sand. It is Samuel Beckett’s world of Happy Days and Rosemary Doyle will be playing the iconic role of Winnie, a perpetually optimistic force in a garden of the abyss. Kingston Grandmother Connection-We’re back! Our popular Market for Africa returns for its 12th year in Kingston. Saturday, November 2, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., again at Crossroads United Church, 690 Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd., Kingston, Ont. (across from the Kingston Centre). Easy access by bus, in the centre of town, lots of parking. Admission is free. We offer a bowl of soup for lunch, and shopping for gifts from Africa and beyond. Mother Nature has long been a source of inspiration for poets and musicians around the world. Cantabile Choirs of Kingston launches its 24th season on at the Spire with Life Has Loveliness - a musical exploration of our environment, featuring works inspired by the world that surrounds and sustains us. Enhancing the music will be images of the stunning water-inspired canvases of Su Sheedy, winner of the 2017 Mayor’s Arts Award.
