The #ygkChallenge is an ongoing series where we dare you to be different, resolve to be better, and or do something awesome in support of our beloved community. Each week, Kingstonist establishes a new, ambitious or quirky goal, encouraging you to step out of your comfort zone and do something great, and hopefully a little out of the ordinary. By taking part in this community-wide initiative, we hope to make Kingston (and the world) a slightly better place to live, work and play.
This week’s #ygkChallenge encourages you to:
Register for KSSC Fall 2015 Sport Leagues. Most Kingstonians recognize that physical activity is an important way to have fun and relax, but many struggle to make the time or the right contacts to do so. Thankfully, there’s the Kingston Sport and Social Club (KSSC). KSSC exists to make our community a better place (for people ages 19+) to live, play, work and connect. They achieve this by providing the city’s largest, most organized and fun co-ed sport leagues, tournaments, social events and classes. Adults young and old of all skill and ability levels can come out to try everything from dodge ball to ultimate frisbee and the popular All Sorts of Sports and Pub Social. Interested? Learn more about all of the programs KCCS has to offer, and sign up yourself and some buds for one of their Fall 2015 Leagues & Classes. Registration ends on September 3rd, so don’t delay.
Join us in completing this week’s #ygkchallenge by liking it on Facebook and/or re-Tweeting it on Twitter. By liking and sharing, you’re not only committing to doing something great, but you’re also helping us spread the word and hopefully encouraging others to participate.
