Montreal to Kingston Stagecoach

200 years ago today! This advertisement is out of the January 13th edition of the Kingston Gazette and describes the new stage line that is running between Montreal and Kingston. The journey is two days long, leaving Montreal on Mondays and Thursdays arriving Kingston Wednesdays and Saturdays. It being winter they are using sleighs, that have “been made comfortable for the purpose”.
