The directors were August Stowe-Gullen, Margaret Gordon, Flora MacDonald Denison, Leslie Rose Stowe and Margaret Johnston. Incorporated October 20th, 1910 the headquarters were located at 259 ½ Yonge Street. This copy comes from the Flora MacDonald Denison material we hold here at Queen’s Archives. Flora was a “charismatic non-conformist …. [who] admired suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst and was a Canadian representative in giant protests in the UK and the US.” (Canadian Encyclopedia)
