Busking at the Seems

Buskers RendezvousWell, it’s that time of year again, The Buskers Festival!  The celebration of music, art and incredible acrobatics began last night to a great turn out.  I made my way down Ontario Street, weaving in and out of large groups of people circling performers and also enjoyed seeing all the patios full to the brim.  I decided to have a look online to see what kinds of acts we can expect this year and I thought I’d share my favourites with you.

This young musician, Daniel Champagne blew my mind with his one-man music show.  This kid plays the guitar as if he has two extra hands.

A new group, The Circus Firemen will dazzle you with their juggling ability and their incredible acrobatic stunts.

There will also be a great mix of artistic talent with comedians, a sidewalk chalk artist, balloon art and face painting so real, you have to look twice.  The full schedule will give you an idea of where things are taking place but my favourite thing to do is to grab a cone from White Mountain or Mio Gelato and wander around to see what I stumble upon next.

We’ve been given yet another gorgeous weekend so get out there an enjoy it!  For all those shutterbugs taking loads photos this weekend, we`d really appreciate it if you would share your best via our Flickr group. TGI Buskers!
