#ygkChallenge: Kingston’s Best Kept Summer Secrets
The #ygkChallenge is an ongoing series where we dare you to be different, resolve to be better, and or do something awesome in support of our beloved community. Each week, Kingstonist establishes a new, ambitious or quirky goal, encouraging you to step out of your comfort zone and do something great, and hopefully a little out of the ordinary. By taking part in this community-wide initiative, we hope to make Kingston (and the world) a slightly better place to live, work and play.
This week’s #ygkChallenge encourages you to:
Share your favourite thing to do during the summer in ygk . It may be the second week of August but there is still plenty of summer fun to enjoy in Kingston. While we’re all big fans of the various festivals and other events that take place in ygk over the course of the summer, there are also a lot of other things to do during the warm months that aren’t limited to one week or weekend. This week we challenge you to fill us, and your fellow readers, in on your favourite local thing to do during the summer months. Is there a certain bike route you love to ride? Or perhaps you have a special place you like to visit for a swim. Maybe there’s a delicious local treat that you can only get when the temperature is high. Tell us your best kept Kingston summer secrets!
Join us in completing this week’s #ygkchallenge by liking it on Facebook and/or re-Tweeting it on Twitter. By liking and sharing, you’re not only committing to doing something great, but you’re also helping us spread the word and hopefully encouraging others to participate.
