Kingstonist’s Greatest Photo Contest

Last week we announced our sixth Greatest Photo Contest.  Local photographers responded in spades by uploading their favourite pics of Kingston and Kingstonians to our ever-growing Flickr group.  Our jury has combed through all the fantastic shots and have, with great difficulty, narrowed them down to eight finalists to include in our two week long poll.  Now it’s up to you, our readers, to help us choose the best photo.  As always, we thank everyone who uploaded photos to our Flickr group.  We use the group regularly as a source for photos for our daily posts and it is always nice to see new additions.

The photos below are all linked to their original Flickr page and we highly recommend you click through to see them all at their best resolution.  In no particular order, the finalists are:

My vote went Hung Mai. The composition and contrast of that photo are stunning.

I voted for Tom Rutledge. Not enough focus is paid to Kingston's wonderful fresh-water diving and wrecks (also zebra mussels,)
