What an exciting week this has been!  There is a buzz at Kingstonist headquarters as we approach our 3rd birthday next Wednesday.  If you’ve been following us on Twitter, you’ve probably already had a sneak peak at our latest project:  awesome t-shirts locally made by Ironclad Graphics.  In addition to that, entries for our Big Birthday Contest have been rolling in.  Keep ’em coming!  You may notice a slightly different format next week.  We won’t be posting on Tuesday in an effort to prepare for the grand unveiling of our new site design on Wednesday and our contest winner will be revealed on Thursday.

Since this will be my last post before the big b-day, I want to take this opportunity to thank our contributors from the past year for helping us keep Kingstonist diverse and interesting.  Specifically, I want to center out our fearless leader, Harvey Kirkpatrick.  His vision and commitment to the site never cease to amaze me -we’d be lost without ya, Harvey.  And lastly, but most importantly, thanks to all of you, our faithful readers, for visiting us everyday and sharing your thoughts with us.  Let’s keep the conversation going for years to come.

Happy Friday everyone!  Don’t let the snow get you down, Mother Nature needs one last hurrah.  Spring is coming though, I know it – my seeds are already sprouting!
