Each week, Kingstonist establishes a new, ambitious or quirky goal, encouraging you to step out of your comfort zone and do something great, and hopefully a little out of the ordinary. By taking part in this community-wide initiative, we hope to make Kingston (and the world) a slightly better place to live, work and play.

This week’s #ygkchallenge encourages you to:

Get Your KCFF Pass Now!  The Kingston Canadian Film Festival (KFCC) is one week away! And this year’s edition is sure to please, spanning three and half days, it’s jam-packed with the best Canadian films of the year, plus parties, music, workshops, and special events with notable folks like host/producer  David Ridgen, and director Alanis Obomsawin.  KCFF 2018 features over 30 riveting docs, side-splitting comedies, and bone-chilling thrillers made by some of the best and brightest filmmakers from coast to coast to coast. With films such as Meditation Park, Don’t Talk to Irene, Mary Goes Round and The Revenous, KCFF 2018 is sure to entertain. Festival passes ($100), ticket bundles (starting at $65), and advance tickets ($12) are on sale now, so there’s still time to get yours while the gettin’s good.  Be sure to check out the full lineup of films and events, and take advantage of Kingston’s best annual film festival!
