Guide to The 2010 Limestone City Blues Festival
Thankfully I don’t really have a whole lot of experience with the blues, which is to say that life is pretty good. That said, I truly appreciate great rhythm and blues music whenever I hear it. From August 26th to the 29th, Kingston will once again play host to some of the world’s greatest rhythm and blues musicians, who will be taking part in the annual Limestone City Blues Festival. Admission to the 4-day festival is a steal of a deal at $10, while programming includes over 50 shows in over a dozen participating venues. Did we miss anything? If you’ve got a line on another blue-related show, please drop off the details via a comment below. Special thanks to Xopher Smith for today’s photo of Hubert Sumlin in action at the Sioux Falls Jazz Fest.
Thank you so much for the great coverage! The only Change I can see is that Generations Barber Shop is no longer hosting a band! Hope to see you all out over the weekned!
Thanks! I've removed that one from the sched.
Also removed both events from LaRocks. Just putting it out there in case anyone had their hearts set on those shows.
