Guide to Feb Fest 2015
I just shoveled for an hour. My arms and back hurt, my hair is sweaty and my fingertips are frozen BUT, now we have snow for Feb Fest! Kingston’s annual winter festival begins next Thursday, February 5th. For four days, Kingston’s downtown area surrounding Market Square will be focused on winter sports, snacks and fun. Throughout the weekend, in addition to the great events listed below, Feb Festers can also enjoy wagon rides and Beaver Tails. Toast To Tapas is back at many downtown restaurants where you can warm up while enjoying an appetizer and beverage pairing for $9.95. While this year’s festival revisits some favourite events such as the 24-hour snow sculpture competition between Queen’s, RMC and St. Lawrence, the Carr Cup and the polar bear plunge, 2015’s festival also welcomes hockey legend Guy Carbonneau and Canadian figure skating star, Patrick Chan. Check out the guide below for the full Feb Fest schedule.
