Kingstonist’s Greatest Photo Contest: Winner

Summer events, weekly pollIt gives me great pleasure to announce the winner of Kingstonist’s Greatest Photo Contest (June 2014 edition). Over the past two weeks, the cast of new and familiar local photographers have been duking it out in an effort to earn bragging rights as well as the top prize (a $50 gift certificate to either Camera Kingston or Kingston Frameworks). Our readers responded in record numbers, propelling Casey Telford’s Waking Up in Kingston head and shoulders above the other talented competitors. Congratulations to all of the finalists, and our sincere thanks to each and every photographer who uploaded their work to our Flickr group. We continue to be amazed by the outstanding quality of the photos submitted and are thrilled to see new members continue to join our group and share their best shots. Our bi-annual contest has once again highlighted depth of talent in Kingston’s photographic scene, which we will continue to support by way of showcasing the works of local photographers and via future friendly competitions. Thanks to everyone who voted. Keep snapping away, Kingston!
