Kingstonist’s Greatest Photo Contest: Winner

Steve Brule, Kingstonist’s Greatest Photo Contest: WinnerI’m honoured to have the privilege of announcing the winner of the most recent Kingstonist’s Greatest Photo Contest (December 2013 edition). As always, a number of terrific Kingston photographers participated by uploading their work to our Flickr photo pool, making our decision on the eight finalists very difficult. After two weeks of polling our readers, Steve Brule‘s Sipps, downtown Kingston has been named the best photo, earning the top prize of a $50 gift certificate to either Camera Kingston or Kingston Frameworks. Congratulations to all of the finalists, and our sincere thanks to each and every photographer who uploaded their work. We are always amazed by the outstanding quality of many of the photos submitted and are thrilled to see how many new members our group gains in such a short time. It only goes to show that photography in Kingston is alive and well, and we will continue to support this by showcasing these great shots in our regular posts and in future photo contests. Thanks to everyone who voted, including our terrific jury. Keep snapping away, Kingston!
