Gord Downie: Introduce Yerself

Today is the release of Gord Downie’s 6th and final solo album, Introduce Yerself. The double album consists of 23 new songs, each one about a different person in Gord’s life. The album, produced by Secret Path producer Kevin Drew, was recorded over 2 four-day sessions in the winter of 2016 and 2017. Its completion in Gord’s final months gives the album a very raw and personal look at who Gord was. It is haunting and beautiful and real.

The official trailer for Introduce Yerself was released by videographers Jennifer Baichwal and Nicholas de Pencier in September. The entire album is available for download, or hard copy purchase through Gord’s official site.
