Happy Friday everyone!  Wow, it was almost chilly this morning wasn’t it?  According to my thermometer, it was 13 when I woke up today.  Still sunny and beautiful though.  I’m certainly not going to complain, this summer has been amazing.  I guess Mother Nature felt she owed us one after last year…

So what are your plans for this weekend?  It looks like I’m going to have to make some tough decisions about which bands to catch because there is a ton of music going on in the city over the next three days.  Tonight you can catch Telfer at The Merchant at 10pm and there’s no cover!  Tomorrow there’s jazz all day at Myles Acres as they host the 2010 Food and Wine Fair.  Go taste some great local wares while you listen to jazz bands from Kingston and the surrounding area.  Don’t worry about driving, there are shuttle buses to and from downtown so go indulge!  In the evening The Mansion will host The Binge along with The Purple Hill and Sticky Henderson.  This event is $5 at the door which is a steal for three really fun bands.  And Sunday offers up The LeBoeuf Brothers at The Mansion at 8pm.  This highly anticipated show will be a great way to top off what promises to be a gorgeous weekend.

Go soak it up folks!  The countdown is on….
