Friday Foto

Will you marry me graffitiHappy Friday!  On my way to work this morning, I noticed that a crowd of faithful fans had camped out at the K-Rock Centre to be the first in line to get Tool tickets, which went on sale at 10am.  This has got to be one of the biggest names the KRC has attracted to date, save for Leonard Cohen and local sensations such as the Hip, and Avril Lavigne.  Speaking of local talent, the production team behind Ruby Can’t Fail, which won the Kingston Canadian Film Festival’s “10 Years, 10 Minutes” competition, have begun to accept applications for cast and crew members.  Filming begins in the Fall, and I’m really interested to see the end result of this project.

Last but certainly not least is today’s featured photograph, which is provided courtesy of acktown.  The above pictured, and below quoted text was sprayed on a wall behind the famous Rockwood Insane Asylum.  Although this may not be your dream proposal, this may be Kingston’s one and only piece of heartwarming graffiti.
