Ticket Giveaway: Festival Players’ Fall Season

Tomorrow marks the official kickoff of the Festival Players of Prince Edward County’s Fall Season, which runs until October 7th. The Festival Players’ 2017 Fall Season boasts two highly touted shows, The Harrowing of Brimstone McReedy and True Crime, each running back-to-back for one week only at the new Storefront performance venue on Main Street Wellington.

Regarding the exciting Fall Season, Festival Players’ Artistic Director Graham Abbey says:

I’m thrilled to welcome these two formidable artists to the Storefront and to the County. These critically acclaimed shows are a perfect match for the intimacy of our new Storefront studio space, and signal the kind of cutting edge, engaging theatre that we hope to program in this unique space moving forward.

Eldritch Theatre’s The Harrowing of Brimstone McReedy, which runs from September 26th to October 1st, tells the story of a Grifter, the Devil and cursed Klondike Gold. Created and performed by Eric Woolfe. this unique production features puppets, con games and dark parlour magic. Recently nominated for two Dora Mavor Moore Awards for Best New Play and Best Performance, The Harrowing of Brimstone McReedy is not to be missed.

Castleton Massive production’s of True Crime, is the second show in the Fall Season, with seven performances from October 3rd to the 7th. Created by Torquil Campbell (co-frontman of the band Stars) and Chris Abraham in collaboration with Julian Brown (of the bands Apostle of Hustle and Guh), True Crime centres on Campbell’s investigation and impersonation of real-life con-man Clark Rockefeller. True Crime treats audiences to a mind-twisting performance that confronts our cultural addiction, accompanied by good story and music by Belleville-based musician Julian Brown.

Tickets to the Festival Players of Prince Edward County’s Fall Season are available here, or by calling the Box Office at 613-476-1991. Pricing is $32 for general admission, $20 for youth tickets, and a two-show pass is available to see both productions for just $54.40 plus tax.
