We strive to help every student become a balanced and well-rounded artist, no matter the level of dance they wish to pursue. We believe in using positive reinforcement and safe movement practices to aid our students in gaining a sound technical background, building self-confidence, and learning to be expressive through the art of dance!

We have adopted new policies and procedures in order to continue to provide a safe dance space for students during this time. This includes smaller class sizes, masks in common areas, air purifiers in each dance studio, physical distancing, increased cleaning protocols, and staggered class times. Children can develop many life skills from dance classes that go far beyond the practical applications such as respect, time management, commitment and the importance of setting goals. Dance is a great way to encourage physical fitness and active living at a young age.

At Dance Fitazzet we place an emphasis on personal development, building self esteem and total enjoyment. All 3 studios have been marked with coloured squares on the floors, each dancer has their own corresponding coloured space at the barre as well as their own bin for their belongings.

Dancing enhances the overall well-being of children and adults. Dance helps reduce stress, boost memory and support immune systems. Dance can diminish depression and develop balance, strength and coordination.  And then there’s the friends we make at class!

The health and safety of our dance family is our top priority. Some of the things we are doing to keep everyone safe include limiting class size so we can physically distance while dancing, and sanitizing the studio regularly throughout the day. Leisa’s remains committed to doing everything we can to keep our dancers dancing, and our community safe.

We are so excited to welcome both returning and new students back to the studio. Fall classes began Tuesday September 8th, and there are still spaces in some classes. Register here: https://form.jotform.com/202364710592250
