A few short weeks ago, our Springtime celebrations were somewhat dashed by random flurries and unseasonably cool temperatures, which continue to linger.  Normally the May-long weekend spells big gardening projects for our household, while we’ve thrown caution to the wind this year by planting our garden and hoping everything will survive the brisk evenings.  That said, I’m certainly not complaining about the weather at this time of year, as I’ve been enjoying soaking up every last drop of sunshine after work and on the weekends.  Patios are once again plentiful, and I’m still holding out on cutting the grass for the first time this season.  Things couldn’t be better, and I for one am planning on having the best Summer ever!

Kingston is truly coming to life, and June is a great month to venture out in flip flops and check out all the fantastic things the city’s arts and culture scene has to offer. Take the time to vote for your favourite event in June 2015 and drop us a line to plug events we should have included. Planning something really awesome for July, August and beyond? Be sure to add it to our calendar, which is where we look to scout things out for polls and guides to the city’s best events.

Thanks to Skeleton Park Arts Festival for today’s photo.
