Most Anticipated Events in July 2015 in Kingston
Schoooool’s out for summerrr! Well, just about. Many LDSB students are still plugging away at finals and getting ready for graduation ceremonies, but for the most part, summer is here and vacation is within reach. While we all enjoy events like Feb Fest, or heading out for a skate on the lake, summer has been a long time coming and it really is a great time to be in The Limestone City. We are lucky to live in a town that offers numerous festivals, tons of outdoor concerts, sporting events and so much more in the summer months. There is so much going on, that it can be difficult to decide which event we’re most looking forward to. To top it off, in addition to some tried and true favourites like Buskers Rendezvous and Artfest Kingston, Kingston will also be hosting exciting new events such as The Kick and Push Festival and The Limestone Genre Expo. This week, we’re looking at the month of July and we want to know:
Which festival/event in July 2015 are you looking forward to the most?
- Buskers Rendezvous (63%, 121 Votes)
- Canada Day (18%, 34 Votes)
- Artfest Kingston (10%, 19 Votes)
- Chef Cooking Demos at Market Square (6%, 11 Votes)
- The Kick and Push Festival (3%, 6 Votes)
- Kingston Show n' Shine (1%, 1 Votes)
Total Voters: 192

That’s a pretty great list. I, for one, am really happy that Harvey and I have made plans to be in town for Canada Day this year. We have been away for the last 2 years and made the conscious decision to make sure we’re here this year. It’s holidays like July 1st that bring this city to life. From locals enjoying a mid-week day off to tourists coming to check out ygk, Canada Day, and beautiful days in general, come with a great vibe and sense of community.
Which event are you most looking forward to? Did we miss your fave? Tell us about your plans for an awesome July in Kingston.
