Most Anticipated Events in August 2015 in Kingston

K-Town Triathlon, Sheep Dog Trails, Wolfe Island Music Festival, Kingston, OntarioI’m not gonna lie: I’m not overly thrilled to be writing today’s post.  While I’m excited to look at the fun things ahead, I’m just starting to get into this whole July groove and don’t really want to think too much about the last month of summer vacation just yet.  However, duty calls!

In all seriousness, while July still has much to offer such as the ongoing Kick and Push Festival, Movies in the Square, Music in the Park and Local Food, Local Chef demos at Market Square, there is more to come with the arrival of next month.  August has a lot to offer in Kingston and the best part is, there is such an eclectic mix of fun events that there is truly something for everyone.  This week we want to know:

Whether you’re excited to bump into other members of the community and support local businesses during the Princess Street Promenade, check out the speed boats at The Poker Run or enjoy blues (actual blues!) at The Limestone City Blues Festival, there is no question that the events listed above are truly, uniquely Kingston.  Did we miss your favourite ygk event in August?  Tell us about it and why you love it so much!
