Best Day Spa in Kingston

best day spa in Kingston, ygk, Kingston, OntarioEvery now and then, you’ve got to pamper yourself a little bit. Visiting a day spa is an excellent way to decompress and to focus on the little things that can make us feel great about ourselves. While there is much more to life than having the perfect eyebrows or a good manicure, enjoying these things on occasion can do wonders for our self-esteem and our overall sense of calm. I know that for me, even just a new haircut can put me in a good mood for days.

In this neck of the woods, many people take the time to make esthetics a day-long or even overnight event because of the number of wonderful places that can be found just down the highway from Kingston. St. Anne’s Spa near Grafton is a popular spot for a day of pampering with friends, and Gatineau’s Spa Nordik offers the unique experience of Scandinavian thermotherapy.

In Kingston proper, we have a wide selection of places to visit for a quick eyebrow wax or a full day of massage, facials and other relaxing services. While none of our local businesses are geared specifically to men, they are all unisex and many do offer packages that would appeal directly to male clientele.

Whether you’re a regular visitor or you just like to treat yourself once in a while, this week we want to know:

What is it about your favourite place that keeps you coming back? Is the atmosphere? The location? Perhaps the pricing is the best or there is a specific person you go there to see. While some may see this as a frivolous question, it’s important to take time for ourselves and it doesn’t always have to break the bank. Many of our local spas offer student, military and senior’s rates as well as specials at certain times of the year. You can also find Groupons and other online discounts for many of these businesses. With all of the choice in ygk, we couldn’t possibly include every option on today’s list. Did we miss your favourite local spa? Tell us all about it in the comments below.
