Most Anticipated Events in October 2015 in Kingston

October events, Kingston, OntarioThe last time I wrote a post like this one, we were looking ahead to August and I was somewhat reluctant to think about summer’s end.  This week marks the first day of fall and this time, I’m going with it.  Partly because I love fall, partly because, as great as summer is, it’s nice to get back to routine. But mostly, I’m going with it because there is a lot to look forward to next month.

While The Wolfe Island Corn Maze has been open since the beginning of August, it’s super fun and spooky to gather a group of friends and head there in the cooler, darker fall months.  Other Halloween fun to look forward to includes Fort Fright and The Kingston Symphony’s first ever Halloween concert.  As always, Flying V Productions is offering up a ton of great shows, including the second QPop! Festival featuring the likes of Rural Alberta Advantage and Alvvays.  New on the scene is the intriguing Garrula: A Storytelling Event, which will take place at Stone City Ales. The theme of this inaugural event is First Times. Conversely, a veteran to the scene is Queen’s Homecoming, which takes place at the end of the month.  From music and spooky fun to storytelling and reuniting, the first full month of fall certainly has something for everyone.  This week, we want to know:
