CFRC’s Radio Residencies program celebrates CFRC’s 7th Annual Funding Drive and UNESCO’s World Radio Day with the launch of two original radio documentaries by CFRC resident writers.
Veronica Blackbourn’s “Some Remain So: Conversations about Mental Health” takes an alternative look at depression through a local lens; Usman Mushtaq and Ekta Singh’s “Border Crossings: Stories of Immigrant Youth in Kingston” shares the experiences of young immigrants to Kingston in their own voices.
The documentary’s launch is free, though donations will be accepted toward CFRC’s 7th annual Funding Drive. CFRC’s Radio Residencies program is made possible through the support of the City of Kingston and the Kingston Arts Council through the City of Kingston Arts Fund.
