Public art can define a city. It has the potential to enrich quality of life, activate urban spaces, and reflect a sense of shared identity by revealing natural, social, and historic civic contexts. With a particular focus on the Visual Arts, panelists Annalee Adair, Janet M. Brooke, Stuart Keeler and Colin Wiginton will consider key aspects involved in the production and consumption of public art: policy, presentation and preservation.
